First and only Dutch edition, with a well-preserved dust jacket, of Von Schirach’s Revolution der Erziehung, originally published in German in 1938. The volume contains the text of several speeches on National-Socialist education.

Baldur von Schirach (1907-1974) was head of the Hitler Youth from 1931 to 1940 and Gauleiter and Reichsstatthalter of Vienna from 1940 to 1945. He was a fervent anti-Semite and was responsible for the deportation of 65,000 Viennese Jews to various Nazi concentration camps in German-occupied Poland. In April 1945, he was imprisoned by the American armed forces. At the Nuremberg Trials, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for crimes against humanity.

This Dutch edition was published by “Westland”, a National-Socialist publishing company founded in 1941.
