Jewish prayers in response to the catastrophic Lisbon earthquake of 1755

Seder we-tiqun teḥinot u-vaqašot. Amsterdam, Jan Janson, 5517 (1756). 8vo. [12] pp. Contemporary marbled wrappers. The wrappers damaged, otherwise in good condition.

A liturgical work, in Hebrew, containing prayers for a fast day held by the Amsterdam Jewish community after the catastrophic Lisbon earthquake of November 1, 1755.

Jan Janson (Yohan Yanson, d. 1757) founded his press in 1752. His output seems to have been rather limited; the STCN records only eight editions printed by him. Although copies of this edition are recorded in several Dutch libraries, it isn't listed in the STCN.
