Rare book of plates: the STCN list one complete copy (in the Rijksmuseum) and another copy in the Amsterdam University Library containing only the first 55 plates. According to the catalogue of the Rijksmuseum the second series of plates was removed from the copy in the Amsterdam University. The work was also issued in Haarlem by Scheevenhuysen.

Etched title-page and 55 numbered etched plates, captioned in Dutch and showing the coats-of-arms of European monarchs, noblemen, and Christian clergy, with the title-page and 6 plates hand-coloured and partly highlighted with gold and silver, followed by a second series of 14 unnumbered etched plates showing French coats-of-arms. Both series interleaved with blank leaves. Contemporary blind-stamped vellum, title in manuscript on spine.
In very good condition, with some insignificant stains.
